October 15 奥巴马要来啦，大家可别扔鞋啊 这周末，老布什携奥巴马来学校出席 Presidential Forum on Service的活动。鉴于最近奥氏的健保改革方案甚受非议，以及民主党政治人物在德州历来不受待见，老布什和校学生会组织就如何保证奥巴马在塔木受到礼遇，或至少是不受非礼遇等事宜，进行了深入的沟通。现通知如下： This past weekend, I had the privilege of meeting former President Bush. During our conversation, President Bush and I agreed that Aggies will always be respectful, especially when the President of the United States comes to visit our campus. 校学生会进一步重申了美国宪法里对言论自由的保障： The First Amendment Right to Free Speech is a fundamental element of American Democracy. In fact, many of the people that we honor on this campus through various memorials or Muster ceremonies died to protect that right, and every member of the Aggie community should be dedicated to upholding it. 校学生会向老布什保证，并向广大师生提出以下基本要求: Based on my conversation with President Bush and many similar ones that I have had over the past month, I would like to make one simple request.
